Signs of hope!

All of us bloggers in southern Ontario woke up to a ton of snow..........ugh!  The calendar tells us its spring but you wouldn't know it by looking out the window this morning.

But there are signs of hope.  I managed to take some photos of these lovely little snow drops before the snow has covered them up.  Let's hope they survive and reappear when the sun shines again.

Happy Wednesday!

Is it spring yet............

There seems to be a general theme to my posts these days as I am craving to get out into the garden.  I did notice yesterday that some bulbs are starting to poke their little heads through the somewhat still frozen ground.

In spite of its tardy arrival I am still doing some indoor gardening.  I have a new project on the go, growing herbs and a variety of sprouts.  If all goes well I  hope to sell some in the spring.  I will keep you posted on my progress.

I also made a trip to Oakville the other day to visit the store that Chrissy's husband sells his furniture from.   While there, I picked up a few treasures to brighten up an otherwise gloomy day.

Just love these little chalkboard signs, may have to go back and get more!

and these little burlap sacks.......cute as a button!

these are supposed to be cloth cocktail napkins, but I can assure, no one will be wiping their mouths with them.  I have a few other ideas for them instead.

and finally this vintage inspired bottle opener, the perfect addition to my country kitchen

Day one of my sprout growing, check back in a few days as they should be looking much different.

Have a good weekend everyone!

At this time of the year I cannot get enough of fresh flowers.  I found this cute tool box and turned it into another flower box in the house.

and who doesnt love daisies, they are such a happy flower:)

Aside from that the forsythia branches that I brought in are blooming...........YAY,  spring is coming,
I can feel it!

Happy daisy days!
