A crafty Christmas...........

In the past I have used brown postal paper to wrap presents, other years I used newspaper and sometimes I havent wrapped the gifts at all.  I have been so inspired by all of the talented bloggers out there that his year I decided why not make gift bags so that the bag is part of the gift.  Using up scrap fabric around the house............ I can see using this for fresh flowers or vegetables from the local market.  What a fashionable way to shop!

Here is my prototype..........hope you like it.

Have a good weekend everyone xo.

What a great idea...I love it...and want one!
I'm going to make this a homemade holiday and avoid shopping, malls and anything commercial - I really want it to be extra simple and special this year.
I'd love to give pretty bags with homemade goodies inside. Thanks for the inspiration...maybe you'll sell them? :)

excellent idea! i too have used newspaper and craft paper. the bag idea is so great. one who sews has pieces of fabric from past projects to make these terrific bags and still use up these extras. i won't be doing this one project as i don't sew. maybe it's cuz of no machine. keep inspired. Bestest,Denise
