'tis the season

As gardening season winds down to an end it is time for paper whites and fresh flowers in the house.  As an avid gardener I keep fresh flowers in the house all winter to tide me over till gardening season comes around again.......also, as an experiment, I have planted some tulip bulbs that have been in the freezer since spring.  If all goes well they should come to life indoors.  They are not much to look at the moment but should they grace me with their presence I will take a picture and keep you posted:)

I am sure that those tulips will do wonderfully with your TLC. Look how all these beautiful flowers thrive and I do love those pots! :)

I love your idea of planting herbs in canning jars! Will they last the winter inside? I will really miss my herbs that I planted in my potager. It was so wonderful to have fresh herbs and veggies all summer long. I still have some broccoli and peas growing, but we are suppose to get our first flurries this weekend.
